The GrainPro® Collapsible Dryer Case II™ (CDC II™) is a low-cost solution for safe, effective and convenient crop-drying. It eliminates the need for fuel and electricity as it uses solar energy, which is the simplest and most economical drying method. It also allows drying on virtually any flat surface.
The CDC II has a capacity of 1100 lbs. It is easy to repair, maintain and transport since it is made of woven coated polyethylene (PE), which is twice as strong as ordinary tarpaulin and half as heavy as reinforced PVC. The CDC II is simple to install and operate. Its side walls contain inflatable tubing that serves as a retaining wall and inflates using a foot pump.
In case of anticipated rain or overnight, the CDC II can be closed rapidly by its pulling straps. A flap makes the case highly water resistant, protecting crops from moisture re-adsorption. The CDC II dries crops with minimum losses through reduced spillage, and without additional operating costs.
